Big-E Award

The Scott Myers "Big E" award is awarded annually to the senior football player who, in the estimation of his team members and coaches, is the most deserving of the honor.

A plaque bearing the name of each year's player shall be placed in the Moore Lion Football locker room. A plaque will be awarded to the individual player and shall remain his property.
The winner shall be chosen by the members of the team at the close of each season. The award shall be based on

Effort
Determination
* Team Cooperation
* Desire to win

The award is not intended to signify the most valuable player but to recognize the player who puts forth the greatest effort with the ability he possesses.

These determining factors could also be used to describe Scott Myers.
It was the hope of Coach Myers that the "Big E" award be a coveted possession and sought by all players of the Lion football team in years to come.

Greg Rolland Scholarship Fund

The Greg Rolland Memorial Scholarship is awarded each year to an outstanding Senior Football player.

The player must exhibit those things that Greg himself valued such as leadership, a good student in school, as well as other qualities. The scholarship is awarded at the banquet each year. Greg Rolland was very active in the community and youth sports. There are many lives who were touched by Greg as either their coach or as the President of the Moore Quarterback Club.
